You want to feel better
Fast
Not slowly
Not gradually
Not “over time.”
Now
So you try things
A technique
A routine
A video
A method someone swore by
You do it once
Maybe twice
And then you ask the most important question:
“Is it working?”
If the answer isn’t obvious—
you move on
Because if something is real,
it should work immediately
Right?
So you collect practices
like tabs open in a browser
breathing technique
journaling
grounding
mindfulness
something new tomorrow
Nothing sticks
But everything almost does
And then you say:
“Nothing works for me.”
But here’s the uncomfortable part: Why Do We Rush Everything, Even Our Healing
It’s not that nothing works
It’s that nothing gets the chance to
Because healing, unfortunately
isn’t dramatic
It doesn’t announce itself
It doesn’t show up in one powerful moment
and fix everything
It shows up quietly
in a slightly slower reaction
in one less overthinking spiral
in a moment you paused… instead of escaped
Small things
Easy to miss
if you’re looking for big change
But slow feels like failure
when you’re used to speed
So you rush
Even through the very thing
that asks you to slow down
And maybe that’s why it feels like you’re stuck
Not because you’re doing it wrong
But because you’re not staying long enough
to feel it working
Or maybe
nothing is wrong with your healing
You’re just measuring it
with the wrong expectations
If You Want to Try Differently - Why Do We Rush Everything, Even Our Healing
No big plans
No “new routine.”
Just a softer way to approach it

1. Pick One. Stay With It
Not five techniques
Just one
a breathing pattern
a pause
a small grounding habit
Stay with it for a few days
Not perfectly. Just consistently
2. Stop Checking If It’s Working
For once:
Don’t evaluate immediately
Don’t look for results
Let it exist
without turning it into a test
3. Shrink the Effort
Instead of “10 minutes daily”:
Do 1–2 minutes
Make it too small to avoid
Consistency grows quietly
4. Notice Micro-Changes
At the end of the day, ask..
Did I pause even once today?
Did I react slightly differently anywhere?
That’s progress
Even if it feels insignificant
5. Let It Be Imperfect
Missed a day?
Do it the next time you remember
Not tomorrow
Not “from Monday.”
Just the next time….
do make time to read my other blogs

I read this post again with a relaxed mind and realized something powerful… we often try to measure results based on our own expectations, but sometimes God is preparing a different path for us — one we fail to notice because we’re focused on what we want. Staying consistent and being open to alternate outcomes truly brings more peace and happiness. Thank you once again for sharing such simple yet deeply effective words. Wishing you a wonderful day.
