🌅 Morning Warmth : Tasty Pressure-Cooked Dal

What if your dal could carry comfort to your family like a sacred mantra in every spoon?

In the pressure cooker , combine:

Soaked tuvar dal + moong dal

1 Ginger Garlic cube

2 Onion Tomato cubes

1 Coriander Kadipatta cube

Pressure cook with love till soft and homely

🌼 Now for the sacred touch — a ghee tadka:


Temper mustard seeds, red chilli, and a pinch of hing (asafetida). Pour it gently into the dal — like offering a diya at your home altar

What if your bhaji was more than sabzi — but a hug folded into every chapati bite?

In a pan with oil, begin your prayer of flavors:

Finely chopped or grated onion + tomato

1 Ginger Garlic cube

2 Onion Tomato cubes

Sauté till the aroma wraps you. Add dry masalas as per your choice like turmeric, red chilli, dhania, or kitchen-made spice blends

Add vegetables of your choice like potatoes, peas, beans or whatever is waiting in your fridge for its moment of glory

Cover with a lid. Simmer slowly not just to cook, but to allow stillness

Top with fresh coriander. That’s your secret blessing

🌇 Evening Bowl of Comfort : Tasty Vegetable Rice

Can rice remember your hands folding it with love?

Start with cooked rice — every grain ready to blend

In a pan, add oil, ghee or butter of your choice:

1 Ginger Garlic cube

2–3 Onion Tomato cubes

Sauté and invite in the vegetables: paneer, capsicum, carrots, onions

Cover and let them talk to each other in the steam. After 5–7 minutes:

Add garam masala, a pinch of sugar, and salt to taste (an extra would be better so that blends with the rice )

Mix in the rice. Stir slowly, lovingly

your vegetable rice is ready to be attacked. you can garnish with coriander leaves as well

🌜afternoon Elixir : Chaas / Buttermilk

Does your body crave coolness after a day of fire?

In a vessel, mix:

4–5 tsp curd

2 Coriander Kadipatta cubes

Jeera powder, salt

A little water — stir and wait till the cubes melt

Now add more water. Strain gently

tasty chaas ready to serve

What you have is more than buttermilk — it’s your body’s deep breath. It is peace in a glass
