WHAT IS TO BE UNIQUE

we are different from all the other people around us

this uniqueness is the most Wonderful gift of nature

when you focus on the uniqueness, it will bring you closer to your actual purpose in life

you are the best at being you and if you do your best, it means YOU have made the most wonderful discovery that you can

we are created by the same god but all of us do have some variations

not all things are perfect, adorable and probably the best

everyone is unique and Gifted in some way

never judge a book by it’s Cover As the chapters of the book and the author might be wonderful as one gets to know more about it

attitude and behavior can take a person to places where they have never been

A STORY BASED ON THE UNIQUENESS OF EACH ONE OF US

Once there was a water bearer in india who had two large pots

each one hanging on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck

one of the pots had a crack on it, while the other pot was Perfect

at the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the perfect pot delivered a full portion of water while the cracked pot Always arrived only half full

for two years, this was a daily habit.

the bearer could only deliver one and half pots full of water to his house

the perfect pot was proud of it’s accomplishment, for it was perfect and always arrived full and brimming with fresh water

but the poor cracked pot was ashamed of it’s own imperfection and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do

the cracked pot spoke to the water bearer and said, ‘ I am ashamed of myself and want to apologize to you’.

‘why’ asked the bearer.’ why are you ashamed of ?’

‘ i have only been able to deliver only half of my load because of this crack in my side. because of this flaw, you have to do all the work and you don’t get full value from your efforts’ said the cracked pot

the bearer said to the pot, ‘ did you notice that there were flowers only at your side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side?

that’s because i have always known about your flaw, so i planted flower seeds on your side of the path.

everyday while we walk back with water, you have watered them drop by drop.

for all these 2 years, i have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my table.

because of this flaw of yours, i have been able to grace my house with beauty ‘

MORAL OF THE STORY

each one of us has our unique flaws.

it is all these cracks and flaws that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding

you have to see the person as they are and Accept their flaws and look for the good in them

from our childhood, we are taught the art of comparison – someone else’s child more intelligent or obedient than you are

all educational system depends on comparisons, teacher’s appreciation and biasly treating children

the whole structure of society is continuously comparing and that very idea is false

our education system, parents, pears and everyone around us should help every child to bring out the talents according to their taste and ability

just be yourself .. you are accepted by the sun, you are accepted by the Moon, by the trees, by the ocean, by the earth. what more do you want.

you are accepted by the whole universe..

live it fully and rejoice in it

CONCLUSION

i am no teacher or saint to preach or teach people

but by god’s grace i come upon such references from books and teachings from spiritual books which gives us a lot of wisdom and ways to live our valuable life meaningfully

and teach ourselves and the people whom we associate with – to live with the right code of conduct and to raise our standard of living

making smaller changes in life will not only help us be a better individual

but also bring a valuable change in the society in the current scenario which is very much required

however small it may be but let’s atleast start from OURSELVES

let’s make the world a better place with our small efforts in all aspects of living
