let’s talk about a home made face wash powder

there are many videos on social media regarding how to make a variety of home made face powders.

evaluating them and experimenting with many ingredients, i came upon a face powder which is very effective which may suit for all face types so thought of sharing this with my friends as well

so let’s go straight to the recipe

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED FOR THE HOME MADE FACE WASH POWDER

1. multani mitti powder/ fuller’s earth .. 1 cup

2. mulethi powder / licorice root powder . half cup

3. turmeric … 1 spoon

4. neem powder … 1 spoon

1. gentle cleanser – helps remove all the dirt, grime and other impurities that could be present on your face

2. exfoliates the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin and makes the skin smooth

3. removes blocked pores

4. aids in circulation of blood by enhancing blood flow

mulethi powder

1. also known as yasthimadhu

2. fades sun spots, protects skin from sun damage

3. treats hyper pigmentation, giving your skin a smooth and brighter look

4. anti oxidants in licorice powder blocks free radicals from harming the skin, thus protecting it from premature ageing

TO MAKE THE HOME MADE FACE POWDER

mix all these ingredients well and transfer it in a air tight glass container

too much exposure to air and water may spoil the mixture so what you can do is take only a small portion of this powder in a small glass jar that lasts for a week

rest of the mixture can be store in fridge if it is hot outside

HOW TO USE THE FACE WASH POWDER

when washing the face, take a little of this powder in hand, put water, enough to make a paste and gently rub this mixture on your face and then wash it off well

it does not give the lather of commercial face washes but it completely keeps the skin clean of all the oil and grime on the face and without any chemical ingredients involved or any side effects
