walking chanting meditation – how to remember to be in constant awareness in the present moment and being mindful at every step through constant prayers or chants

INTRODUCTION oN WALKING CHANTING MEDITATION

sitting and chanting is easy but when we are on the move, always being in that constant awareness is sometimes not possible

that’s when i got to hear from a spiritual guru about chanting names of any god on every step while walking

that struck me very strongly. and slowly but steadily started following these walking and chanting names

i admit i don’t always tend to remember doing that but most of the time i consciously try to bring back my awareness to my steps and start chanting

HOW TO CHANT AND BE AWARE IN WALKING MEDITATION

when we walk, step after step, chant mantras or names of any god according to your caste or religion

example …

chant ram on step then sita on another step So your chants will be sita rama constantly

or rama on one step and krishna on another step so it’s rama krishna

or radhe krishna or only rama rama

any names which you would love to remember and keep chanting

i personally chant rama krishna and in between gaps i say hari, so it’s rama krishna hari

it is such a calming effect wherein you are aware of each step of yours and when done with an attitude of gratitude then what more you can ask for

yes, while chanting, express gratitude for all the possibilities and opportunities which you have got

awareness that you are at such a higher level in so many ways from other less previliged people and express thankfulness to the universe, the almighty, the supreme

thankfulness that you have legs to walk, you have the proper mind to think, all your motor functions Working effectively

in a way you enable to co ordinate your steps with chants with your conscious mind and that is Effective walking

WHAT ARE THE POSITIVE EFFECTS OF WALKING CHANTING MEDITATION

1. i am always chanting some god’s name which keeps me verbally busy

2. i am always in that gratitude mode

3. no waste negative thoughts in my mind which would have definitely surrounded my thoughts had i not given them the task of chanting and thanking

4. my mind automatically becomes calm and peaceful

5. since i am in the mode of goodness, in awareness, my Aura would definitely be improved and i would radiate positive vibrations to people surrounding me

6. and lastly The most IMPORTANT point , since i now radiate a positive energy, i now meet people of the same wave length, positive people, i am less inclined to accidents, or meeting agitated people or getting into unnecessary arguments because i am already in that HIGH VIBRATIONAL MODE.

So i am in a way repelling negative people from my way

1. chanting while walking meditation helps keep the mind from wandering

2. it helps in bringing us back into a meditative state of awareness

3. walking meditation invites us to open ourselves and lead with love

4. consider incorporating walking meditation into your day, the maximum possible times when you are on the move

5. after some time you may start to notice a more elevated, blissful Version of yourself That you can carry with you, wherever you go

6. walking and chanting offers a holistic approach to well being, combining physical movement, mental focus and spiritual elements

7. regular practice can bring a Sense of inner calm and clarity, reducing stress and anxiety in everyday life

8. it strengthens the connection between the mind and body promoting awareness of physical sensations and mental stress

9. the combination of walking and chanting can be deeply personal and introspective practice, allowing individuals to explore their inner thoughts, emotions and spirituality
