SWEET SPICY CHUTNEY
Let’s make a sweet spicy chutney which can be easily made for chaat recipes
this chutney can be used for making chaats, bhel and as an accompaniment for snacks like samosa or kachoris
so let’s go straight to the recipe
iNGREDIENTS FOR THE SWEET SPICY CHUTNEY
1. Coriander leaves 1 cup

2. green chillies 5 to 6 nos

3. garlic 7 to 8 cloves

4. jeera / cumin 1 small teaspoon

5. dates 4 to 5 nos

6. jaggery 2 teaspoon

7. tamarind 1 small lemon size

8. rock salt according to taste
METHOD TO MAKE THE CHUTNEY
1. in a vessel boil dates for a minute so that the dates get softened and let it cool aside
2. in another vessel boil jaggery in water along with tamarind for a few minutes and let that cool as well
3. now in a blender, put coriander leaves, garlic, jeera ( cumin ), dates along with water, tamarind jaggery water and rock salt and grind it to fine paste
4. it should be neither too thick nor too flowy in consistency which means it should be medium consistency
5. taste and see whether any spices are required to be added according to your taste
