RAW MANGO SIDE DISH RECIPE
let’s see how to make tasty and easy raw mango side dish Recipe. you can make and store it easily for a week in the fridge
INTRODUCTION
come summer and we can’t stop thinking about mangoes. the flagship fruit of spring is the mangoes.
raw mangoes recipes are sure to help you to enjoy the summer season in a more tangy and flavorsome way. this fragrant fruit is more unripe, less juicy variant of the mango
so let’s get to the recipe
INGREDIENTS
1. raw mangoes..2 nos

2. small onions ( shallots ).. half the quantity of mangoes. if small onions are not available Then the bigger ones can also be used

3. methi ( fenugreek )seeds quarter teaspoon

4. jaggery 3 to 4 tablespoon

5. mustard seeds half teaspoon

6. ginger finely chopped 1 tablespoon

7. green chillies 3 nos fine chopped

8. kadipatta 1 tablespoon finely chopped

9. red chilli powder according to taste
10. turmeric half teaspoon
11. hing (asafoetida) pinch
12. salt to taste
RECIPE FOR MANGO SIDE DISH
1. take the chopped mangoes and the chopped onions in a vessel
2. put water so that the mangoes and onion mixture is submerged
3. bring it to boil
4. add in red chilli powder, turmeric, hing and salt and let it boil for 10 minutes or till the mixture mashes completely and becomes a mushy texture
5. now add in the jaggery and mix well and turn off the flame
TADKA TIME FOR THE DISH
6. Take a deep bottom pan, add coconut oil ( this oil makes the dish tastier )
7. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds ( methi ), let it splutter
8. then add finely chopped green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and hing (asafoetida )and saute it well
9. and then add this mango mixture to it.. If you find the mixture thick add little water.
Taste it and see whether any salt or jaggery needs to be added..
10. Turn off the gas, transfer it to a glass container
11. Let it sit outside for one day for the taste to enhance
