THE PRESENT MOMENT
stop being a prisoner of your past and become the architect of your future …. robin sharma
it means to be completely aWARE and be in the pRESENT moment
understand that everything is in the here and now … thich nhat hanh

every moment is pERFECT in nature for you whether you realize it or not
every moment is meant for you, you can never be anywhere except where you should be
it is a very deep perspective to understand but once you get the knack of it, you are an enlightened soul
if you honor, respect and accept the present moment with positivity, happiness, abundance even if you are FAKING it then you are creating a happy moment to be your pleasant past automatically
keep creating present happy moments so that even when you remember your past, you are only creating happy fulfilling past

we are today because of our yesterday karma
today if we are sad, dejected or angry, maybe we have created some bad karmas in the past which we are facing today
as the law of attraction say … whatever we give we get and get in abundance
so why not create beautiful happy TODAY so that we keep creating right KARMAS and our tomorrow will also be PERFECT
WAYS TO LIVE IN THE MOMENT
As thich nhat hanh says..
taking the example of eating an orange
take the time to eat an orange in mindfulness.
if you eat an orange in forgetfulness, caught in anxiety and sorrow then the orange is not really there
but if you bring your mind and body together to produce true presence, you can see that the orange is a miracle
peel the orange, smell it’s fragrance. the orange tree has taken several years to bring the wonder in you
put a section of the orange in your mouth, close your mouth mindfully and with mindfulness feel the juice coming out of the orange and taste the sweetness

do you have the time to do so ?
if you think you don’t have the time to eat an orange or any fruit like that then what are you using that time for
are you using that time to overthink, worry, fear, anxious or are you using that time to live
practice looking, touching, thinking, drinking, eating and talking in a mindful state
every act, every breath, every step can be a practice of presence and help us to become ourselves

mindfulness is a practice to be fully present and alive.
your body and mind are connected . it is the energy that helps us to know what is going on in the present moment
i drink water and i know i am drinking water, not my thoughts, worry and anxiety. only drinking water is what is happening
so indirectly it helps us to develop concentration. when things done mindfully, concentration grows
one more thing is that in the process of being mindful,
you connect to the divine energy
being in the present moment in every act and knowing that the divine energy is giving us the power

being aware of the divine presence in every act of our’s and surrendering that act to the supreme, that feeling of satisfaction, happiness to the ultimate and feel the divinity within us
why do we always run and run even while having food, while walking, while sitting. there’s always some pushing and pulling happening all the time
we make ourselves happy in the hope of having happiness in future
another way of helping to stay in the present moment is
constantly being aware of our breath
mind may wander. bring it back to the present moment by focusing on the breath
and while focusing on your breath, always remain in that divine remembrance.
keep chanting some divine names of whatever sect you belong to or believe in and feel the presence of divinity all around

as thich nhat hanh says…
bREATHE IN – i am aware of my body, my senses
BREATHE OUT – smile in gratitude to whatever that supreme universe has bestowed on me
constant chanting, affirmations, awareness of the now, focusing on the breath brings you to enjoy the here,
tHE BEAUTIFUL PRESENT MOMENT
