Palming with Your Hands: 6th Ritual Of Everyday Ayurveda For A Wonderful Life

Palming

Palming

Have you noticed how instinctively we place our hands over our forehead when stressed, or over our chest when anxious?

It’s as if our body knows that our palms are natural healers

🌿 What is Palming?

Palming is the simple act of gently rubbing your hands together until they are warm, and then placing them over your eyes, face, or any part of the body that feels strained

It’s often used in yoga to relax the eyes, but in truth, it is a natural medicine for the whole system

🌸 Why Palming Works Like Magic

Your Palms Carry Energy: In many traditions, palms are believed to be energy centers

When rubbed, they generate warmth and subtle pranic energy that soothes

Relaxes the Mind: Darkness and warmth over the eyes calm the nervous system, reducing stress and anxiety

Relieves Strain: Especially powerful for tired eyes from screens, or even for calming headaches

Connects Body & Spirit: Palming is like reminding yourself — healing is in my own hands

🙏 Spiritual Angle

Isn’t it interesting that the same hands we use for chores, cooking, or serving also become channels of divine energy?

Ancient scriptures remind us:

“At dawn, look at your palms — the Goddess of wealth, knowledge, and power resides there.”

By consciously using our palms, we awaken this sacred energy within us

So the next time you feel restless, ask yourself:

👉 Before reaching for a pill or scrolling for solutions, why not try simply placing your own healing hands over your eyes and heart?

✨ Remember—sometimes the best medicine doesn’t come from outside. It comes from the warmth of your own hands, guided by the divine energy within
