How to Do Kegel Exercises for women -- Step by Step procedure
Finding the right muscles:
The easiest way is to imagine stopping your urine mid-flow. The muscles you use are your pelvic floor muscles
Important: Don’t make a habit of doing them while urinating—it’s just a way to identify them
Get comfortable:
Sit, lie down or even stand. You can do Kegels anywhere once you get used to them
Contract the muscles:
Tighten your pelvic floor muscles and hold for 3–5 seconds
Breathe normally — don’t hold your breath
Relax:
Release the muscles fully for another 3–5 seconds
Repeat:
Aim for 10–12 repetitions for 2–3 times a day according to the problem’s intensity

Common Mistakes that should be Avoided
Don’t tighten your stomach, thighs muscles and focus only on the pelvic muscles
Don’t try to hold your breath and keep breathing normally
Don’t overdo it, muscles need rest too
