we all at some point of time face bloating issues, flatulence, gas or any other digestive issues as we age. it may be because of unhealthy eating, or wrong food eating habits or any under lying minor health issues

so let’s see how to make easy after food digestive powder Mix. it has been beneficial for me and so thought of sharing this with my friends as well

let go straight to the recipe

RECIPE FOR THE SAUNF DIGESTIVE POWDER

1. Saunf ( fennel seeds ) .. 1 cup

SAUNF DIGESTIVE POWDER

2. jeera .. quarter cup

3. ajwain .. quarter cup

4. dhania seeds 1 spoon

5. dry ginger powder 1 spoon

6. cinnamon powder half spoon

7. trikatu churnam half spoon ( optional )

SAUNF DIGESTIVE POWDER

PROCEDURE TO MAKE EASY DIGESTIVE SAUNF POWDER

1. dry roast saunf, jeera, ajwain, dhania each separately in a pan till it gives a nice aroma

2. now off the flame and put all the ingredients back to the pan

3. add the ginger powder, cinnamon powder and the trikatu churnam.

this trikatu churnam is optional but i always keep a satchet of it and prefer adding it to this mix. i bring it from the patanjali stores

4. mix all these ingredients well and let it cool

5. after it has cooled down put it in the mixer and coarse grind it

SAUNF DIGESTIVE POWDER

6. now keep it in an airtight glass jar

whenever i make in large quantities, i prefer keeping a small quantity outside and keep the rest in fridge so that it remains fresh and that crunchiness is not lost

this powder can be made in bulk and stored for a long period in the fridge

TWO METHODS OF HAVING THIS DIGESTIVE POWDER MIX

a. First method is

whenever i have this digestive saunf powder, i have it along with little jaggery powder or a small piece of whole jaggery

jaggery also aids in good digestion

b. second method is

that you can add half tablespoon of this saunf powder in a glass of boiling water and let it steep.

after 10 minutes, drink this water and eat the softened residue saunf as well
