That’s why I thought of using the natural ingredients available in my own kitchen until I found the perfect, skin-friendly combination.
After much trial and error (and countless hours of scrolling through skincare videos), I finally discovered a DIY rice face pack that works wonders for me without causing breakouts or irritations

Ingredients for the Rice Face Pack
1. Rice Flour (Homemade) – 1 Spoon

Rice flour acts as a gentle exfoliant, helps in getting rid of the dead skin cells
since it is Packed with antioxidants, it helps in reducing signs of aging
it is generally Suitable for all skin types
DIY Tip:
To make rice flour at home, soak raw rice in water for maximum 15–20 minutes. strain the rice and air dry well
Once it is dry, grind it finely and strain it in a strainer to get a smooth fine powder
2. Flaxseeds powder – ½ Spoon

Improves skin elasticity, making it firmer and youthful
Rich in anti-inflammatory properties, helping with acne and redness
A powerhouse for reducing fine lines and wrinkles

Gond Katira (Tragacanth Gum) powder – ¼ Spoon

Hydrating, cooling, and anti-inflammatory—perfect for sensitive skin

How to Prepare & Store the Face Pack
I like to keep things simple!
I mix all three ingredients in larger proportions with the same measurements and store them in a glass jar in the fridge.
This way, I have my face pack ready whenever I need a quick glow-up!
How to Use the Rice Face Pack
Take ¼ spoon of the pre-mixed powder into a bowl
Add warm water to create a smooth paste
Stir in a few drops of honey for added hydration
Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes (flaxseeds and gond katira swells a bit, so you might need to adjust the consistency with more water)
Apply evenly on your face and neck
Leave it on for 15–20 minutes

Rinse off with normal water and admire your soft, glowing skin in the mirror!
