KAIZEN METHOD : HOW TO LIVE A LIFE OF SELF MASTERY

KAIZEN METHOD

Today’s blog is about the kaizen method of living.

WHAT IS THE KAIZEN METHOD

i thank the author robin sharma for bringing up this book ‘ megaliving ‘ which is a wonderful book where he has mentioned about the kaizen method.

kaizen is a japanese word and it means constant and a never ending improvement in life through small and incremental changes.

individuals can break free from the cycle of laziness and cultivate a productive and disciplined mindset

it is easier said than done. there are many hurdles especially mentally which we have to take care of while living in a society

there can be many instances in our life where we fall in the negative or sympathy mode and we get entangled in that loop

de entangling from that loop and maintaining a positive state of mind and creating an environment of encouragement and enlightenment not only in our lives but also in the lives of other people is the TRICK

and That is what we should learn in this life

for that he says..

to stop being a prisoner of your past. instead be an architect of future

which is absolutely true…

we keep thinking about our past lives, however big or small it may be, about things and people who or which made us depressed or angry and we keep on re-living them even though we know the fact that the event is no longer RELEVANT In our lives NOW

still we keep cursing that past and everything and everyone involved in it without knowing how much bAD we are doing to ourselves in the PRESENT MOMENT by creating negative moments nOW

KAIZEN METHOD

HOW TO APPLY THE KAIZEN METHOD

robin sharma says whoever applies kaizen principle in their daily activities can certainly be successful

1. everyday, by doing small act of self improvement like exercising, spending time reading books, having good relationships with others, we can make regular deposits in our bank accounts

2. our mind is like the muscle of the body.

to make our mind strong, we must use it or give it a good exercise everyday Otherwise the mind will become weak and allow weak thoughts to enter easily

as a result we start going down the graph in our life

3. robin sharma believes that the most effective technique to practice kaizen is to do the things you fear

4. the author suggests to identify and conquer our fears and weaknesses

5. when you conquer your fears, you conquer your life hence being the master of yourself and become free

6. self mastery is the DNA of life mastery

7. success begins within

8. you don’t attract what you want, you attract who you want to be.

this mantra is worth repeating and reflecting many times
