SPROUTED RAGI HEALTH POWDER
let’s make a healthy sprouted ragi health powder recipe. Ragi is also known as FINGER MILLET
this powder can be a great substitute for other commercial powders that are available in the market which are added to the milk
plus it will provide added calcium and iron not only to children but also to elderly people as well
so without any delay let’s see how to make the ragi powder
PROCEDURE TO MAKE THE sPROUTED RAGI HEALTH POWDER
1. First clean the ragi well in water and soak overnight

2. morning once again wash the ragi grains very nicely and cover or tie it with a damp cloth
3. always remember the cloth should be damp for the ragi seeds to germinate and sprout fast
some tie it on the tap of the kitchen sink so that it is always in the moist condition
4. keep it for a day or two and then remove and see
5. you can see the ragi grain would have sprouted and it would be white in color

6. take the sprouted ragi on a dry cloth and keep it under the fan to dry it completely so that no moisture remains in the ragi grains
7. now take it in a pan and dry roast it on slow flame till it gives a nice aroma

8. keep it aside and let it cool
9. take a mixie jar, add the sprouted ragi , few elaichi / cardamom ( remove the skin ) , quarter spoon of dalchini / cinnamon and nutmeg / jaifal and 7 to 8 strands of saffron/kesar
10. blend it well to a fine powder

HOW TO MAKE THE SPROUTED RAGI HEALTH POWDER DRINK
1. first keep 1 glass of milk to boil in a vessel
2. take half glass of water and add in 1 teaspoon of this ragi powder and mix well
3. when the milk boils put this ragi mixture and sugar and let it boil for 5 to 10 mins till the ragi cooks well
4. strain it in a cup
