Queen
Episode 1: My Morning Crown – Rituals That Set My Day
“A queen doesn’t wait to be served. She wakes up before the world and prepares her kingdom.”
Yes, I said queen — not CEO, not manager, not multi-tasking robot
I said QUEEN because that’s how I’ve begun to see myself
And every queen starts her day with a ritual, right?
So here’s how I crown myself every morning in my own small, sacred ways😊
☀️ 1. Waking Before the Sun
I wake up at the ring of the alarm. Not to rush, but to arrive
Just five minutes of sitting still on the bed with my feet touching the floor, the mother earth, whispering smilingly a quiet “Thank you.” for another precious day on this planet, waking up healthy with my loved ones in deep slumber
Some call it “grounding.” I call it inviting peace into my day which is going to be lovely and beautiful
as i move to freshen my self i send love and good wishes to my home, to the walls which form my kingdom

🕯️ 2. Lighting the Lamp
Before the kitchen wakes up, my pooja corner does
I light a lamp not just to banish darkness, but to invite clarity and divinity in the way
That flame reminds me: I am the light of this home and this brightness lightens my home with all health, prosperity, joy and abundance
I say a quick shlokas or chants, sometimes I just smile at my diety, lord narayana or lord shiva and ask Him not to test me too much today and be by my side always in whatever actions or tasks i am required to perform
🍵 3. the detox drink is My Throne
My morning detox drink is not just a drink. It is my pause.
I cradle that glass like I’m holding my crown which is warm, precious, deserving and rejuvenating for my body

I don’t gulp it between chores. I sit with it calmly. I sip while i chant affirmations and hymns and I smile at the silence
🧘♀️ 4. Stretch, Breathe, and Plan
While the cooker hisses in the background, I do two things:
A) Breathe deeply — Just five minutes of moving my body
https://reflectwithsmitha.com/how-to-meditate-through-focused-breathing/
B) Plan simply — I jot down three things I’d love to accomplish, beyond the everyday routine
They could be:
learning a new song and rehearsing it
Write something for my blog 😉
Sit quietly for 10 minutes post-lunch — anything random three points which helps me evolve every day
🌼 5. Dressing for Myself
Even if I’m not stepping out, I dress up
A fresh kurti, a bindi, a light kajal to light up my eyes, a pair of matching bangles to brighten up, a spritz of my favorite attar. Not for others, it’s just for me, the queen
Because even a QUEEN in her own home deserves to FEEL like one

💬 Final Thought:
Being a homemaker isn’t a fallback , it’s an act of creation, Many will resonate with me i guess😉
Every morning, we create rhythm, love, structure, and comfort for the home
That’s not routine. That’s our royalty and privilege
So, my dear fellow queens, what’s your morning crown?💖
that’s all friends for the queen in the making
until next time, keep smiling
much love .. stay happy .. stay blessed .. always
