❤️‍🔥 Day 7: Make One ‘Love Dish’ 7 Day Mindful Kitchen Challenge

Love Dish

“Some recipes don’t come from cookbooks — they come from the soul.”

You’ve chopped with presence, cooked with intention, cleaned with care and even breathed before boiling milk

Now, it’s time to bring all that together… into one soulful dish

Today, we’re not just cooking to feed the family

We’re cooking to honour a memory, a moment, or a feeling

🍛 Your Task: Make One 'Love Dish'

Choose one simple recipe that carries emotional value. Something that says:

“This reminds me of my childhood.”

“This is my go-to comfort meal.”

I make this when someone I love is tired or unwell.”

It could be:

Rasam from your grandmother’s kitchen

kaanji rice the way your mother made it when you were sick

Love Dish

Hot upma on a rainy morning

Even something modern like a cup of chai with buttered toast that calms your soul

Today, make this dish slowly. Lovingly. Silently.

Let each step carry a memory

✨ While You Cook, Whisper a Blessing:

“May this dish carry care

May it comfort who eats it

May it return me to myself.”

You can even play a song that connects you to the person or moment you associate with the dish

Let the kitchen become a space of storytelling

🍽️ Optional Touch: Serve with Ritual

Use a favourite plate or bowl

Add a fresh tulsi leaf, or a small flower to the tray

Light a diya or smile before serving — yes, even to yourself

This is not about impressing anyone

It’s about celebrating the spirit in your food

🪔 points to Reflect:

What did you choose to make and why?

How did it feel to cook without rush or routine?

What memory did you stir up that made your heart feel full?

🎉 we’ve Completed the 7-Day Mindful Kitchen Challenge!

Take a bow. Not because your food was perfect

But because you brought consciousness, care, and heart into your most ordinary routines

This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of a new kitchen relationship — where every act is sacred, every meal is a meditation

until next time, keep smiling

much love .. stay happy … stay blessed .. always
